Sunset Cultures was created by chef Balo Orozco and bartender Jacqui Harning in the spring of 2020. After working with farmers market produce in restaurants across LA, Balo wanted to find a way to continue to work with market produce in new ways. Both of us had experience working with fermented and preserved foods, and together we began to work on transforming local produce into kombucha
